Swannies Break 72 year Drought!
Well just incase you
thought the Grand Final was well and truly over…just thought we’d
remind you once more! What a match, what a game, what a
team!!
Harvest
News…
¨ Well what a
quiet month August was. Luckily things are improving
again. This would be a great time for some maintenance
welding jobs to be done, if you have anything you’ve been putting
off or not sure if it can be welded give us a
call.
¨Due to the
increased demand for on-site jobs we are forced to implement
a $250 call out fee. This cost is to cover our time, fuel and
loss of a welder “in house”. Your job cost will be in
addition to the $250 flat call out fee and will take effect
from September 6th . We remain more than happy to
help you out by providing on-site jobs where necessary. This
price is strictly for on site welding jobs and does not affect
customers seeking quotes.
¨TIFA Dinner.
Kevin and
Julie will be heading up to Sydney for the TIFA Dinner on Friday
28th October. With any luck they might see some
familiar faces up there! The dinner should be a great
night.
Oh, and what a
pity that Kev and Jules may just have to stay up in Sydney for the
weekend!!
Please note:
If you require a pick up or delivery we MUST be notified by
9am. We are moving this time forward from 10.30 as Ian is
already out and about by 10.30 and results in him running backwards
and forwards!
Also job
sheets need to please be filled out and sent in with jobs as this
minimizes errors and misunderstanding- no job sheet, no
job.
Monday 24th October
Pink Ribbon Day
Harvest is
helping The Cancer Council with it’s
Pink Ribbon Day fundraising by
selling a range of Pink Ribbon pins.
We would love
it if you could help us by buying a pin-we know pink is a girlie
colour and not what you’d wear in the factory, so maybe buy one for
the ladies and show off you sensitive side! Feel free to pop
in for a cuppa and to buy a Pink Ribbon.
Staff
News…
Kevin &
Julie Have been busy having a holiday in Ayers Rock for a
week and then a week later heading back up to QLD for another short
stay.
Barge
Is itching for the nice weather to spill over to the weekends
without the wind- then he might be able to get the boat out and go
for some fishing therapy!
DuncanHad
a weeks holiday in Brisbane. He went up to surprise an old
friend on his birthday and by all accounts had a great
time.
Garry
Was lucky enough to get his hands on a couple of AFL grand final
tickets- and wasn’t he wrapped with his Swannies
winning!
Wendy
Watched the Grand Final from the comfort of her lounge while her
husband went with Garry to the game. At home or at the game I think
there was as much anxiety!
Ian Was
lucky enough to meet the Black Eyed Peas whilst they were on tour
in Melb. Talk about being in the right funky little pub at the
right time!
